We came here specifically looking for the $1 drink of the month ("Adios" which is a blue Long Island iced tea). Unfortunately we were misinformed by the info online because it was actually $4 here. We still got it because that's a really good deal & the 10 oz drink was effective.
We also got the boneless buffalo chicken which is good to eat while drinking.
I'd come here again for the drink deal. -

I came here with my friends after work to have a nice night out. Our server was named Sam. I mean, she was nice but doesn't know how to properly charge people. it took 10 min to charge me because of the machine not working; so she took my card and used their system to charge. I was charged, but I was suspicious and had a feeling that I was charged more than once so i checked my account. I was actually charged TWICE! How ridiculous is that. I was really upset.
It showed three charges in my account. it showed that they refunded my money but charged me again, but where did my other money go? I tried to explain it to their manager, but he's making some lame ass excuse saying "It takes 24 hours for my money to be refunded." So please explain how i was automatically refunded my money? It does not take 24 hours for me to get my money back. I left leaving really upset. I had to call my bank so they can cancel the pending transaction and get my money back. I can't believe they tried to steal my money.
Also, food was unseasoned and the reason for that is "Many people do not like seasoning." like what! How do you season the mashed potatoes but not the salmon... what a fucking joke. I'm never coming nor eating at applebees ever again. -

I visited this Applebee's today; my experience was a disaster, and I will never visit this location again.
My server was named CLEMENT, and he is THE most unattentive server I have ever had. The only time he even came to the table was to take our order.
The kitchen was taking a long time with our order and Clement didn't even come over to tell us. The people around us had enough time to eat their whole meal, have drinks, have a deep conversation and leave. Not to mention, their orders were being messed up too. Non-stop apologies left and right from THEIR waiter for what the kitchen was doing.
I had to ask the supervisor what was going on with OUR food. They told us it was the steak that was taking so long.
Clement DID come to bring us utensils, but even the fork he brought was visibly dirty and I had to clean it myself with the alcohol spray I keep in my pocket.
The food FINALLY came. We were so hungry. Imagine how disappointed my partner was at the tiny piece of salmon he was served... AND IT COST $21! Seriously, that salmon looked like someone had already taken a few bites out of it.
I dig into my steak that I ordered WELL DONE, and it was not WELL DONE at all. It was pink; if it was any lighter, it still would have been a-mooin'. It wasn't so light that I would get sick, but their excuse for taking so long was the steak - how is the steak not even cooked thoroughly when you bring it to me?
Well, after that, the waiter was gone for a long period of time. I had to ask the manager, who was bussing tables, to bring a steak sauce and to refill our drinks. The next time I saw the waiter, he asked us if everything was ok as he was walking by. But by that point, everything WAS ok because the manager had helped us.
Even when we were trying to pay the bill, we had such a hard time flagging down the waiter. The manager had to come over and take our payment, because of course, all of the tables had mini-kiosks except ours.
What I see is that this place is extremely short staffed. Clement wasn't able to come to our table because he was trying to be a waiter and a busser at the same time. The kitchen was backed up even though it wasn't a full house - there couldn't possibly be enough staff.
HIRE MORE WORKERS!
A lot of people are looking for jobs and willing to be trained properly. It's really a shame that this is going on in Manhattan, which is supposed to be one of the "top" places in the United States. -

More like Hecklebees, when I'm writing the review, because f*** it's sooooooooooo bad fammm.
Probably my least favorite Applebee's location because my god it's taking up such a massive space right in the heart of Midtown Manhattan.
It's so sad what has happened to New York. Giuliani can f***ing do one.
The chains have really taken over, and Applebee's is the exemplary (read: worse of all) one as it is so massive and so prominent. Makes me pretty depressed actually.
The food is utterly atrocious and should never be eaten by anyone ever. -

I don't know why I continue to torture myself coming to this Applebee's location. The service is always poor here. There can be so many open tables and they will either make you wait, or send you upstairs or to the back section. You would think this would make sense with their staffing, but then once seated where's the waiter/waitress? Are you making the soda in the back? I watched my waiter walk around the section for about 10 minutes before he returned to take our food order. Mind you there were only 4 small family groups in our section.
We order the unlimited shrimp/riblets/ chicken tenders combo ( which for some reason is TEN DOLLARS more per person than the national price, that's excessive) I order riblets, wife orders shrimp. We both get a mountain of fries! Waiter comes back, anyone want dessert? Umm no, I want another serving of unlimited! Then he just assumed we both just want a refill of the same items and walks away to put in the order. I don't know about y'all but I don't need that many ribs in one sitting, at least let me mix it up. After our second serving, here comes the waiter, anyone want dessert. Bro why are you pushing dessert so hard, get me some more shrimp. It's bad enough I'm paying $25 for the unlimited, why can't I get my unlimited. And each serving comes with another mountain of fries. What a waste. Put a basket in the middle, we can pick from there when that runs out refill it. We had enough fries to feed 6 ppl by the end of our meal. Next time I'll just make the trek to Brooklyn
